Brian Noble joins Super League Thursday!

17th April 2016

Super League Thursday returns on Thursday 28th April when Wigan Warriors take on Warrington Wolves live on Sky Sports. The match will be shown in the VIP Room at Riley’s Sports Bar on Haymarket, and the London Rugby League Foundation has invited ex-Great Britain international player and head coach, Brian Noble along for a Q&A session with fans.

Noble has a unique insight into the sport after a 15 year playing career with Bradford and Wakefield, and captaining the Great Britain touring team to Australia in 1984.  Noble acheivements as a coach are arguably more well known after leading Bradford Bulls to every major club trophy from 2000-2006, saving Wigan from relegation in 2006 and coaching stints with Crusaders and Salford Red Devils. Most notably, Noble served as Great Britain Head Coach from 2004-2006, with GB beating Australia in Sydney for the first time in 20 years.

The Foundation is a charity established to promote the growth of Rugby League in London and the South East, and this is one of a series of regular Super League Thursday events at Riley’s Sports Bar through the season. Doors open at 6:45pm and entry is free but we advise you to arrive early for what is expected to be a very popular evening.
