Two new coaching courses have been launched in summer 2016 for community rugby league coaches from clubs across London and the South East.
One UKCC Level 2 coaching course will be run for coaches delivering 13-a-side rugby league, at London Skolars home ground, New River Stadium in Wood Green. The Level 2 course is designed for those with some experience of rugby league and the requirements of coaching, and is a requirement for anyone coaching a team in the London Youth & Junior League.
The course dates are as follows:
Day 1: Sunday 5th June
Day 2: Sunday 12th June
Day 3: Sunday 3rd July
Day 4: Sunday 10th July
In addition, a UKCC Level 1 coaching course in Rugby League has also been announced to take place at Bromley College. THis course is for those who are looking for an introduction to working with groups of children, junior rugby league teams, or for parents of children in junior rugby league teams who want to get more involved. The course is suitable for parents, volunteers and those with limited experience of the game and coaching. The dates are as follows:
Day 1: Sunday 26th June
Day 2: Sunday 10th July
