The London Rugby League Foundation is seeking applicants for two new coaching apprenticeships. The two apprenticeships will form part of a wider group of twenty apprentices employed by six organisations as part of a programme called Coach Core, funded by The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry.
The five other organisations who will become employers, in addition to the Foundation, are the MCC, The Fulham FC Foundation, sport for social change charity Greenhouse Sports, London Youth Rowing and the West Ham United Foundation. Successful applicants will work as full time paid coaches and leave the programme with recognised qualifications, new skills, knowledge and a wealth of experience from working as a trainee sports coach.
To be eligible for the programme applicants must:
- Not already be in full time education, employment or training.
- Be aged 16-24 years old on application.
- Be available to take part in a recruitment day on 25th & 26th July.
- Be available for full time paid employment of 30 hours a week from 22nd August 2016 to 21st August 2017
