Super League Thursday @ Riley's Sports Bar, Haymarket

28th June 2016

Super League Thursday is back on Thursday 14th July with the final Hull derby of the season, Hull FC v Hull KR. The London Rugby League Foundation, together with the RFL, will be hosting an evening at Riley's Sports Bar on Haymarket, where the match will be shown in surround sound on the big screen, kicking off at 8pm. We will also be welcoming special guest, Garry Schofield OBE for a Q&A from 7pm.

Garry earned over 100 caps for Hull FC and over 250 for Leeds Rhinos, and in 2013 was inducted into the British Rugby League Hall of Fame, which comprises the greatest 25 Rugby League players this country has ever seen. At the time of his retirement he was the most-capped Great Britain player of all time along with Mick Sullivan, with 46 appearances. He won the 1990 Rugby League World Golden Boot Award, largely due to his exceptional performances in Great Britain's Test-series win in New Zealand and their win over Australia at Wembley 19–12.

The aim of the evening is to bring together Rugby League fans in London to socialise, network and enjoy the game in a great atmosphere. We'll also be giving away tickets to major Rugby League events and other great prizes. There is no entry fee and no booking required, but anyone who pre-registers in advance will be entered into a draw for 2016 Challenge Cup Final tickets at Wembley Stadium. TO PRE-REGISTER, CLICK HERE
